GALACTICAT, also known as the International Film Festival of Tàrrega i Ponent, is a generalist and popular film festival held annually in Tàrrega, Spain. Established in 2014, the festival aims to bring cinema to the wider public and foster a film industry in the Lleida region. It programs classic and contemporary cinema, including fiction and documentary features and short films, across various competitive and parallel sections. The festival has a strong commitment to new creators and emerging talent, and hosts screenings at venues such as Cinemes Majèstic and Teatre Ateneu, along with outdoor spaces.
