The FVNMAS Film Festival, formally known as the Film, Video, New Media, Animation, and Sound Festival, is an annual event presented by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Held each spring at the Gene Siskel Film Center, the festival showcases a diverse array of works by SAIC's graduating BFA and MFA students, encompassing experimental media, video essays, animated shorts, and narrative and documentary films. The festival is free and open to the public.
