Funcinema, also known as the International Comedy Film Festival, is an annual film festival held in Mar del Plata, Argentina, dedicated to celebrating humor through films, shorts, and special activities. The festival features an International Competition of Short Films and parallel sections for international short and feature films, with free admission to its screenings. Films submitted must be comedy-centric, from any nationality, and produced from January 2024 onwards. The festival does not charge inscription fees and offers awards such as Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Performance, Best Gag, and the People's Choice Award.
