The FrauenWelten Film Festival, organized by Terre des Femmes, is an annual event that focuses on the human rights situation of women worldwide. Established in 2001, the festival originally took place in Tübingen and Rottenburg, Germany, coinciding with November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Since 2020, the main festival has been held in Berlin, showcasing a curated selection of approximately 30 current short, feature, and documentary films from over 20 countries. It also features a comprehensive supporting program that includes concerts, readings, theater, workshops, and exhibitions.
