The Festival Internacional de Cine de Chiloé (FICH) is an annual, free film festival established in 2018 by the Corporación Cultural Fílmica Chilota, with the mission of expanding access to cinematic arts across the Chiloé archipelago in Chile. The festival's programming focuses on independent cinema, featuring both national and international films across various competitive categories, including short and feature films. Beyond screenings, FICH also includes audiovisual training opportunities through initiatives like FICH School for children and youth, and FICH Laboratory for amateurs and professionals, alongside forums, workshops, and book presentations. It aims to decentralize audiovisual activity and strengthen the cultural identity of Chiloé's inhabitants.
