Festival Film Bandung (FFB) is a prominent and long-standing independent film appreciation event that honors Indonesian filmmakers, recognized as one of the oldest film festivals in Indonesia. It has been held annually, with its 36th edition taking place in 2023 in Bandung. Beyond FFB, West Java also hosts other film-related events such as the Festival Film Pendek Piala Gubernur Jawa Barat (Governor of West Java Short Film Festival), which encourages creative economy through filmmaking and supports local culture.
