The Festival International du Film Transsaharien de Zagora is an annual international film festival held in Zagora, in southern Morocco. Organized by the Zagora Trans-Saharan Film Association, the event aims to promote the cultural, social, economic, and touristic aspects of the region, encourage film production in the Drâa Valley, and foster exchanges between Moroccan, African, Arab, and international filmmakers. The festival, which has been running since 2003, also seeks to transmit universal values of coexistence and tolerance, reflecting Zagora's historical role as a crossroads of cultures. The 19th edition, for instance, welcomed Kazakhstan as a guest of honor and featured personalities from various countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, Russia, Italy, France, Senegal, and Oman.
