The Festival de Cinema de Jaraguá do Sul is an independent film festival, first held in 2018, that aims to promote Santa Catarina as an audiovisual hub and strengthen national productions. Idealized by Isaac Huna and organized by Frame Latino Ltda., the festival accepts various audiovisual productions, including short, medium, and feature films, as well as music videos. The 8th edition, in 2025, is scheduled to run from October 9 to 11 in a hybrid format, with additional activities from September 29 to October 7, and received a record 600 submissions from 22 Brazilian states. The program typically includes film screenings, workshops, lectures, and debates.
