The Festival de Cine Regional Ayacucho is a film festival held in Ayacucho, Peru, organized by Amaru Producciones with support from the Provincial Municipality of Huamanga. Lalo Parra serves as the director for this festival, which aims to promote the development of non-profit cinematographic activity and highlight the cultural diversity of Peru. The festival has been a platform for showcasing works addressing social and cultural themes and has seen an improvement in the technical quality of regional cinema, with some Ayacucho films being preselected for national representation in international awards. There are plans to expand the festival to a Latin American level in 2025.
