FesticineKids Cartagena is an international children's and youth film festival held annually in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, aiming to strengthen the production and distribution of Colombian, Latin American, and world cinema for young audiences. Founded in 1998 by Gerardo Nieto Nunez, it became known as FesticineKids Cartagena from its tenth edition. The festival includes various competitions for feature films, short films, and experimental works, often involving both film professionals and children/adolescents on its juries. It seeks to encourage filmmaking by children and adolescents, promote the training of new filmmakers, and offer cultural, recreational, and educational activities.
