The Egyptian American Film Festival (EAFF), also known as the Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival, is an annual event held in New York City with the primary goal of linking science with art and fostering cultural exchange between peoples. The festival screens a diverse selection of films, including features, shorts, and documentaries, from Egypt, the Arab world, and the United States. Founded with the aim of promoting dialogue and understanding, the EAFF has featured a "Panorama of Egyptian and Arab Cinema" and a section dedicated to American cinema. The first edition was held in November 2021, and the festival also includes art exhibitions, music performances, and panel discussions. It offers awards for categories such as Best Movie, Best Director, and Best Actor, among others.
