The Egyptian American Film Festival (EAFF), also known as the Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival, is an annual event primarily held in New York City. Founded with the goal of connecting science with art, the festival showcases a diverse selection of films, including feature films, short films, and documentaries, from Egypt, the Arab world, and the United States. Beyond film screenings, EAFF also features art exhibitions, music performances, and panel discussions, aiming to promote cultural exchange, dialogue, and understanding between different communities. The first edition took place in November 2021, screening 40 films from 11 participating countries.
