The DoGA CG Animation Contest was a Japanese competition for independently produced computer-generated animation works, organized by Project team DoGA. Established in 1989, it was recognized as one of Japan's most traditional and longest-running contests for CG animation, with the aim of providing a platform for individual creators and promoting the art form. Over its history, the contest fostered numerous talented individuals, including renowned director Makoto Shinkai. The contest concluded its run with its 32nd edition in 2023, citing that its original objective of popularizing CG animation had been successfully achieved.
