Court Métrange is an international short film festival held in Rennes, Brittany, France, dedicated to "fantastic" cinema, encompassing horror, bizarre, and unusual themes. Founded in 2004 by Hélène and Steven Pravong and the Unis Vers Sept Arrivé association, it aims to promote and popularize the creation of fictional and fantastic short films, offering a platform for emerging filmmakers in the genre. The festival is a member of the Méliès International Festivals Federation (formerly European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation) and awards the Méliès d'Argent for the best European fantastic short film. Beyond its competition, Court Métrange also features exhibitions, conferences, and special programs.
