Competiția Națională de Scurtmetraje (National Short Film Competition) refers to a category or section within several Romanian film festivals, rather than a standalone festival. For example, it is a key component of the Festivalul Serile Filmului Românesc (SFR), known as "S'Curte la SFR," dedicated to young Romanian filmmakers. Additionally, the Festivalul Internațional de Film Experimental București (BIEFF) includes a "Competiția Națională de Scurtmetraj" which showcases Romanian short films.
