The Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival, commonly known as Cinemalaya, is an annual film festival held in the Philippines. Established in 2005, its primary aim is the development and promotion of Filipino independent films. Traditionally, the festival has been held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, though it has expanded to other select cinemas since 2011, and due to renovations, venues within Metro Manila have been utilized in recent editions. The festival features both full-length and short film competitions, supporting Filipino filmmakers with grants and providing a platform for their work.
