The Cinema Scares Film Festival is a Midwest film festival held in Shelbyville, Indiana, dedicated to showcasing independent horror films from filmmakers across the United States and worldwide. Its mission is to provide exposure for filmmakers, offer an interactive experience for horror fans, and facilitate networking within the film industry. The festival, which was formerly known as the Sinister Nights (SiN) Film Festival and held in South Florida from 2020 to 2023, rebranded and relocated to Shelbyville in 2024. It features screenings at venues such as The Strand Theatre and The Skyline Drive-In.
