Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) is an annual, free, four-day festival celebrating cartooning and graphic novels held in Columbus, Ohio, which began in 2015. Described as a "European-style festival," CXC focuses on various forms of cartoon art, including comics, animation, editorial cartoons, and newspaper strips. The festival includes animation screenings, artist conversations, book signings, panel discussions, and workshops, with events held at multiple venues across the city, such as Ohio State University's Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, the Wexner Center for the Arts, and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. CXC also presents awards, including an annual Emerging Artist Prize.
