CAAMFest, presented by the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), is a prominent film festival that showcases new Asian American and Asian films, music, food, and interactive workshops. Formerly known as the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) until 2013, it is recognized as the largest showcase of its kind in the United States. Established in 1982, the festival takes place annually in the San Francisco Bay Area, presenting approximately 130 works across San Francisco, Berkeley, and San Jose. It serves as an important platform for independent Asian American filmmakers and a source for new Asian cinema.
