The BYU Public Domain Film Festival is an annual event hosted by the BYU Copyright Licensing Office, often in collaboration with the BYU College of Fine Arts and Communications and School of Music. Participants adapt public domain materials, with past festivals involving works from authors like Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, and compete for prizes.
