The Buffalo International Film Festival (BIFF), established in 2006, is a non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing regional, national, and international independent cinema. The festival champions diverse voices and cutting-edge programming, featuring narrative, documentary, and experimental films. BIFF also offers workshops, seminars, and industry panel discussions, alongside an "Offscreen" series of art, music, and performance. Originally a three-day event, it has expanded to a week-long festival, presenting over 200 films from more than 30 countries.
