The Brest European Short Film Festival, also known as Festival européen du film court de Brest, is an annual film festival dedicated to short films, held in Brest, Brittany, France. Founded in 1986, with the Côte Ouest Association taking over its organization since 1987, it is considered the second largest short film festival in France. The festival, which takes place every November, plays a significant role in showcasing the creativity of young European filmmakers and features various competition programs, including European, French, and UFO-OVNI sections, alongside non-competition programs. It is open to the general public, school groups, and film professionals.
