The Brazilian Academy Film Awards, also known as the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro (Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix) or the Prêmio Grande Otelo, is an annual film award presented by the Brazilian Academy of Film. Established in 2000, it recognizes excellence in Brazilian cinema. The award was initially known as the Grande Prêmio Cinema Brasil and was presented by the Ministry of Culture before the Brazilian Academy of Cinema took over in 2002 and renamed it. In December 2023, it was officially renamed Prêmio Grande Otelo in tribute to the actor Grande Otelo.
