The Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF) is held annually in October in Bergen, Norway, and has been in operation since 2000. It is recognized as Norway's largest film festival and one of the most significant documentary film festivals in the Nordic countries. The festival screens a diverse range of films, including new feature films, documentaries, and short films, with a particular focus on documentary cinema. In 2024, BIFF celebrated its 25th edition, showcasing over 120 films and attracting more than 55,000 admissions. The main venue for the festival is Bergen kino.
