The Beijing Dance Festival is an annual international modern dance event initiated and organized by BeijingDance/LDTX, China's first officially registered private professional modern dance company. Established in 2008, the festival expanded to a two-week duration by 2012, featuring both educational workshops and performances. It serves as a significant platform for international cultural exchange, showcasing contemporary dance by artists from China and around the world. The festival includes various performance modules, such as "Focus" for full evening productions and "Springboard" for edgy works, alongside a "Youth Dance Marathon" for emerging choreographers.
