The Aster Film Festival is an annual two-day event organized by the Phi Chapter of Delta Kappa Alpha (DKA) at Cornell University, dedicated to celebrating and connecting emerging U.S. student filmmakers. Held in person each spring at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts in Ithaca, NY, it showcases short films under 20 minutes across categories including narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental. A panel of non-student judges evaluates submissions, awarding top films in their respective categories. The festival, formerly known as the Centrally Isolated Film Festival (CIFF), welcomes submissions from students across the U.S.
