The ARUCAD Cinematic Seeds Festival is an annual film event organized by ARUCAD (Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design) in Kyrenia, Cyprus. The festival is dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging student filmmakers from around the world, providing a platform for screening original films, receiving professional feedback, and engaging with peers, academics, and industry experts. The inaugural edition, scheduled for February 23–26, 2026, features categories such as First-Year Films, Experimental Films, Documentaries, Short Fiction Films, and Hybrid Narratives. Awards include Best First-Year Film, Best Experimental Film, Best Documentary, Best Short Fiction Film, Best Hybrid Narrative, and an Audience Choice Award. The festival is open to currently enrolled university students and recent graduates, with submissions requiring proof of student status.
