The Armenian Film Festival London is an annual event dedicated to celebrating Armenian culture and cinematic talent, showcasing both classic and emerging filmmaking from the Republic of Armenia and its diaspora. Inaugurated in December 2024 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), the festival is held under the auspices of the Armenian Embassy in the UK and in collaboration with the ICA and the UK branch of the Armenian Film Society. It features film screenings, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, and other special events, with thematic strands often including the war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and the centenary of Armenian national cinema and Sergei Parajanov. The festival aims to promote new talent, particularly from the British Armenian creative community, and strengthen cultural ties between Armenia and the United Kingdom through the art of film.
