The Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" is an annual competitive screening of cinematic works from around the world, held in the Chukotka Autonomous Region. Its primary goals include promoting modern films related to the Arctic, reflecting various aspects of life in the region, and fostering cultural exchange between Russia and the global community through the Far North. The festival features international competitive selections for full-length and short films across documentary, feature, and animated categories, as well as an interregional "FilmRising!" competition. A distinctive feature of the "Golden Raven" is that the Grand Prix winner is chosen by audience preferential voting, while expert juries decide other categories. The main awards of the festival are crafted by local bone carving artisans using walrus tusk.
