The AlAin Film Festival, founded in 2019, is an annual event held in Abu Dhabi's Madinat Al-Ḥadiqah (Garden City), specializing in showcasing the talents of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region. Under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al-Nahyan, the festival features screenings of over 370 films, including works from Gulf region directors and European films previously shown in Arab countries. It has been recognized for its contributions to the film industry, with selections and awards noted by various filmmakers and festivals.
