The Ajanta-Ellora International Film Festival (AIFF) is an annual film festival held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), Maharashtra, India, that began in 2014. The festival aims to blend cinema with the cultural heritage of the Marathwada region and serves as a platform for creativity, cultural exchange, and artistic exploration. AIFF's programming includes an Indian Competition section, a Short Film Competition, and retrospectives, and it also presents the FIPRESCI-India Jury Prize. Beyond screenings, the festival offers special presentations, seminars, masterclasses, and a poster exhibition to foster learning and engagement in filmmaking. The festival also seeks to promote Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and the Marathwada region as a cultural and production hub. The 10th edition of the festival was scheduled for January 15, 2025, screening 65 films, and the 11th edition is set for January 28 to February 1, 2026.
