The Aguilar Film Festival, also known as the Aguilar de Campoo International Short Film Festival (FICA), is a renowned short film festival in Spain. Established in 1988, it is one of the country's oldest festivals dedicated exclusively to short films and is held annually in Aguilar de Campoo, Palencia. The festival is recognized by the Spanish Film Academy as a key qualifier for the Goya Awards and received the AIC (Short Film Industry Association) certification in 2016 for its role in promoting short films. It features various competitive sections for Spanish and international short films, including fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental genres, and also organizes industry activities and honorary awards.
