The AKE DIKHEA? International Festival of Romani Film, which translates to "YOU SEE?" in Romani, is an annual film festival held in Berlin, Germany, focusing on films by and with Romani people. The 9th edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from October 9th to 12th, 2025, and will commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, highlighting the living conditions of Sinti and Roma during World War II and the ongoing impact of the Holocaust. The festival aims to showcase diverse narratives of the Romani diaspora, amplify marginalized voices, challenge stereotypes, and promote inclusivity and representation within the European film industry. It features film screenings, Q&As with filmmakers, workshops, panel discussions, and awards for Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and an Audience Choice Award.
