The International Sanskrit Short Film Festival is an event organized by Sanskrit Bharati to promote the Sanskrit language through cinema. The 6th edition of the festival was inaugurated in Panaji, Goa on January 24. Previous editions have been hosted in various cities, including Nashik, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Chennai, where the 5th edition took place in 2024. Films submitted to the festival must be entirely in Sanskrit, with a maximum duration of ten minutes for short films and one minute for reels, focusing on engaging narratives rather than documentary formats.
