The 35º Kinoforum, also known as the São Paulo International Short Film Festival, is a significant event dedicated to short films in Latin America, held annually in São Paulo, Brazil. The festival celebrated its 35th uninterrupted edition from August 22 to September 1, 2024, featuring a completely free program that included 287 films from 66 countries and 14 Brazilian states. Founded in 1990 by Zita Carvalhosa, it showcases international, Latin American, and Brazilian short films across various venues such as the Cinemateca Brasileira, CineSesc, and other cultural spaces in the city. The festival also includes special programs, workshops, and offers awards and incentives for participating filmmakers.
