The Warszawski Festiwal Filmowy, also known as the Warsaw Film Festival or Warsaw International Film Festival (WFF), is an annual international film festival held every October in Warsaw, Poland. Founded in 1985, the festival gained accreditation from the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in 2008 as a competitive film festival, joining an elite group of international events. Organized by the Warsaw Film Foundation, its mission is to showcase a diverse selection of films from around the world to Polish and international audiences, fostering communication and understanding between people of different cultural backgrounds.
