A 24ª Mostra de Cinema Infantil de Florianópolis is a prominent Brazilian film festival dedicated to children's audiovisual content, held annually in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. It serves as a significant platform for national and international short films, with some feature films also included, and aims to promote social inclusion and education through cinema. The festival features competitive screenings for national and international short films, along with non-competitive showings for feature films. Films are exhibited in various venues, including the Teatro Ademir Rosa, the Gilberto Gerlach Cinema at the Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC), and through the "Circuito Escola" which reaches numerous public schools and communities in Greater Florianópolis. Additionally, a selection of films is available for online viewing across Brazil via the Itaú Cultural Play streaming platform. The event offers awards for Best National Film, the Children's Special Award, and a Popular Jury Award for national films, while the Best International Film receives a trophy and certificate. Organized by Lume Produções Culturais, the festival also includes workshops, concerts, and discussions on cinema and education.
