The Indian Film Festival Stuttgart (IFF) is one of the largest Indian film festivals in Europe, held annually in July. Organized by Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg since 2004, the festival aims to reflect the growing internationalization of Indian films and interest in Indian culture in Germany. Initially named "Bollywood and beyond" until 2011, the festival rebranded to emphasize its focus beyond mainstream Hindi productions, showcasing current films from all regions of the Indian subcontinent. The festival originated from a partnership between Stuttgart and Mumbai, India, which began in 1968. The 22nd edition of the festival is scheduled from July 23rd to 27th, 2025, and includes awards such as "The German Star of India" for best feature, documentary, and short films, as well as director's vision and audience awards.
