The International Animated Film Festival Banjaluka is an annual event showcasing animated films from around the world. Established in 2008, it is the oldest film festival in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with roots tracing back to the May Animated Film Festival in 1971. The festival features international competition programs for both adults and children, alongside accompanying programs that include masterclasses, exhibitions, and workshops. The 16th edition of the festival took place in October 2024. Since 2010, the festival has also been held simultaneously in several other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
