The 10th East Asia Film Festival Ireland (EAFFI) is scheduled to take place in 2026, celebrating its tenth edition with a program of screenings and events. The festival features independent filmmakers from across East Asia, including China, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore, presenting new cinematic landscapes and perspectives. It explores themes such as displacement, migration, and both collective and personal journeys of identity, highlighting connections across borders and reframing East Asian cinema. The 2026 festival is set to open with the Irish premiere of Chinese filmmaker Agnis Shen Zhongmin's debut feature, *Shanghai Daughter*, followed by a Q&A session. Chinese producer Ziyang Lin is also expected to attend to discuss his docu-fiction, *The River that Holds our Hands*.
