The East Asia Film Festival Ireland (EAFFI) is an annual event that celebrates East Asian cinema, primarily showcasing films from countries such as China, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore. The 10th edition of the festival, held in March 2026, featured a vibrant program of screenings and events, with its main programme taking place at the Irish Film Institute (IFI) in Dublin from March 19–22. The festival also included a "Hong Kong Cinema Focus," a "Festival Guests" section with Q&As and talks, and an "On Tour" program in Cork and Galway. EAFFI aims to explore themes of displacement, migration, and journeys of identity, illuminating connections across borders and reframing East Asian cinema through social, cultural, and economic interactions.
